Private Pilates Nashville
Your body isn't exactly like everyone else's.
Your Pilates practice shouldn't be either.
Private Pilates in Nashville, Designed Around You
Maybe your back gets tight after sitting all day or you feel like your core isn’t as strong as it used to be. Certain movements may not feel quite right, or you’re recovering from time away from exercise and don’t know where to begin.
Maybe you’ve taken group Pilates but want someone to slow down, watch your movement and actually explain what your body is doing. That’s where private Pilates can make a difference.
At Marathon, private Pilates gives you dedicated one-on-one time with an instructor who can focus on you, your movement, your goals and your pace. You don’t have to figure it all out before you walk through the door.
That’s what we’re here for!
3 Private Pilates Sessions – $250
Available at Green Hills & Charlotte Park (West Nashville)
Three Sessions. A Stronger Starting Point.
The purpose of the Private Pilates Introduction isn’t to promise that three sessions will completely transform your body. It’s to give you a starting point.
Session One: Understand
Talk about your goals, learn more about your movement and become comfortable with the reformer.
Session Two: Build
Begin developing strength, stability, mobility and control based on what your instructor observes.
Session Three: Personalize
Continue building on what you’ve learned and begin identifying what your body benefits from most.
You leave with more than three workouts because you leave with a better understanding of yourself in motion.
What If Your Pilates Practice Actually Started with You?
Instead of walking into a group class and trying to keep up, imagine having an instructor say: “Let’s see how you move.”
That’s the starting point. Your instructor can observe your movement, talk with you about what you’re experiencing, and build your sessions around what you’re trying to accomplish.
Maybe that’s:
- Building a stronger core
- Improving mobility
- Moving more comfortably
- Working on posture and alignment
- Building strength after time away from exercise.
- Learning how to use the reformer correctly
- Getting more confident in your movement
- Or simply feeling more connected to your body
Private Pilates gives you the time and attention to work on your goals and needs.

Pilates may be useful for people who want to improve core strength, mobility, body awareness and movement control, which can be relevant for some people experiencing back discomfort.

It can be. Private instruction allows your instructor to observe your movement and select or modify exercises according to your mobility and goals. The focus is on controlled, appropriate movement rather than forcing a range of motion.
Pilates emphasizes alignment, body awareness, controlled movement and muscular strength, all of which can contribute to better awareness of how you hold and move your body.
Tell your instructor before your session. If you’re currently injured, recovering from surgery, experiencing significant pain or under the care of a medical professional, you should follow your healthcare provider’s recommendations and communicate any relevant restrictions to your instructor.
Generally, no referral is required for a Pilates session. However, if you’re experiencing significant pain, have a recent injury or have a medical condition that could affect exercise, you should consult your healthcare provider before beginning.
Private Pilates is one-on one and allows the instructor to customize the session specifically for you. Group Pilates provides the energy and community of a class while still offering instructor guidance.
